Friends For Sale changed the buy achievement from 1.5b to 10b, and here's the impact of the changes:
Right now we have a situation where the next max value of any player is
their current value plus 10 bil. So if your value is 1 bil, you will be
maxed at 11 bil, if it was 7, you will be maxed at 17. The profit made
from sales over 1 bil has changed as have the buy values, making it very
hard to calculate profits or establish when a pet will be at max value.
It will also be really tough for people to find reset partners and those
very wealthy players who had synced their values and are in established
reset groups can carry on resetting free, whereas anyone else cannnot
or only with extrem difficulties, and you can no longer properly partner
with anyone unless your and their values were identical before this
change. Those of us who were at a different value from our partner for
whatever reason are now stuck in this situation for eternity.
People spend a lot of time and in many cases real money playing this
game and it is abusive to make changes of this gravity and absurdity
withouth informing us beforehand and at the very least giving us a
comprehensible explanation. Level the resets differently if need be, but
then please level them according to a logical system and one that
completely destroys people's game and goals. We understand people are
uninterested in buying tokens to lock their pets as that is a very
pointless thing to do, but no one in their right mind is going to start
buying tokens at a rate of knots to lock their pets cos they haven't got
the 50 bil or whatever they need to max them to the next level! You can
get people to buy tokens by introducing things worth spending them on.
No one in their right mind will buy a pet over 1 bil now unless they are
sure someone will buy it back. Many of us already have our walls full
of 1 bil plus pets that quit already or will now and very few players
can afford to max their pets at this point. People cannot leave their
owners as they will not find partners, and so on. Plus as there is no
increase in work revenue for pets over 1 bil, there is very little
reason for anyone to want to own a pet over 1 bil anymore as it will
take people forever to make the cash to reset. Most people who start
playing are not good at trading and many take months to get the cash to
reset even at 1,5 bil.
FFS is becoming more and more arbirtary in its behaviour and little is
fair or makes sense anymore. As an example, just recently a 5 bil pet of
mine was banned for being a fake. He had his real name when he got
banned and changed it after the ban. I was told by one of your helpers
that fakes get banned, so I set him free assuming that was correct
information as he had a fake name now, and being fake is defined by
using a false name. Two days later he was unbanned and when I asked why I
had been given misleading information, the ticket was simply closed.
